In addition to his extensive professional experience, he earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology Management from the University of Maryland, giving him a thorough understanding of strategic program management, bioinformatics, and commercialization of regulated biotech products. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, which emphasized financial analysis, business strategy, and project management. His undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Colorado State University, gave him a foundation rooted in cell biology, genetics, and proteomics.
